• If you missed the news report on Channel 7 last night, this is the Sea Rogue shown before the incident which caused her to sink in 2008 and some shots pulled from the amazing video of Matt Oreo showing her final resting place on the bottom of the ocean about 15km out off Brunswick Heads. We found the wreck in 2012 and first dived her in May of that year. Three weeks ago, we took a group of very experienced divers down to see her and to get the first ever underwater footage of her. We shared this footage with the family of the skipper Charlie Picton who was lost at sea after the Sea Rogue sank. The Sea Rogue is a stunning wreck, a very special dive and a colourful underwater memorial to Charlie Picton. We wish we had known him, but we feel like he would be happy to know that the Sea Rogue is now a haven to thousands of colourful fish and a great pleasure for every diver lucky enough to go and pay her a visit.

  • Here it is: Last night’s news report on Channel 7 about our dive on the Sea rogue…

“Specialist divers have discovered a very rare and sacred North Coast wreck. Six years ago, Yamba’s Charlie Picton lost his life at sea, when his trawler flipped and sank. The footage nobody ever thought possible – has stunned family members and survivors…”
