- Amazing diving today! We saw at least 15-20 Leopard Sharks, mostly from the Turtle Trench to the Cod Hole and lots on the Eastern side of the island as well. They were circling us and very friendly and inquisitive. We also saw a school of 5 huge Eagle Rays in the Nursery and another 3 big Eagle Rays in the Trench, a total of 12 Bullrays, some of them huge and circling each other as if they were about to mate…, a Giant QLD Groper in the Cod Hole, a school of Pygmy Mantas, some Giant Barracuda, 2 big Loggerhead Turtles and lots of big fish everywhere in the current. Absolutely mind-blowing diving, Julian Rocks at its best!
