• Windarra Banks got blown out, so we had a lovely day at Julian Rocks swimming with Mantas. No reason to complain. Photos are soon to follow (right, John?)
  • After too many days of bad weather and no diving, we are now gearing up for a fantastic weekend: On Saturday, Windarra Banks is on the agenda and I hope you have all been finishing off your plates and been good this week, so the weather god(s?) will smile on us. For Sunday, we’re heading out to good old Julian Rocks where we’ll hopefully be welcomed back by lots of Leopard Sharks and a few Mantas (we’ve still got 2 spots available if anyone is keen…). So everybody fingers crossed for an amazing weekend!
  • 120 minutes of fantastic diving at Julian Rocks today: Mantas, Leopard Sharks, a big school of Batrays and so much more… To everyone on the boat today: You guys rock! We can’t wait to have you on the boat again. Happy days…
  • Another great day at Windarra Banks with more Hammerheads and lots and lots of fish everywhere. Thanks to everyone who came out with us, it was great fun today and we hope to see you all back soon…
  • Now where do I start…. We dived Windarra Banks today and it was mindblowing!!! I saw a school of 20 or more Hammerheads cruising past!!! Plus two single ones coming past on our safety stop. Vis was about 30 metres on the first dive, 25 on the second. We also saw a giant Barracuda which seemed to have a thing for John since it came up to him from behind out of nowhere. Other than that, some big Kingfish, a school of big Trevally and lots of other smaller fish. With that great vis and no current, it was just great to take in the underwater scenery out there.
  • It’s an amazing forecast for the next 7 days. We’re considering a trip to Windarra next Saturday 18 February. Anyone interested, please let us know. This is the best time of the year for trips out there, the only thing that might stop us is a strong current. As long as that’s not the case, it’s on…!
  • Okay folks, the water is clearing up. 10 to 12 metres already today and the forecast looks great for Saturday 11th. We still have spots available, so give us a call if you want to see if the diving is really as good as promised after a flood…
  • The water seems to clear up very slowly, but the swell is still huge. Once conditions are good enough to go out, we should have some pretty amazing diving as always when the flood waters slowly recede. Looking at the forecast, Saturday 11th might be our next dive trip. Spot X and Julian Rocks are on the menu and we expect nothing less than incredible amounts of fish life 😉
